Discovering Hofbräuhaus restaurant

Hofbräuhaus is a brewery and restaurant located in Newport on the Levee area and is a great place for people to experience German culture, as well as German beer and food. Me and my other two classmates visited the restaurant about a week ago and were amused by the fact that waitresses are dressed in German uniforms to assure the best experience for the guests. The decoration of this restaurant is another way to ensure that their guests will never forget this experience. The restaurant has traditionally decorated rooms with lots of pictures that present the history of Germany and the history of the restaurant. in fact, The Hofbräuhaus Newport is modeled after the original 400+-year-old Hofbräuhaus in Munich, Germany.

    I've never even heard of this place but it sounds really cool! A lot of my family is German, so I'll have to check it out.

History Of  Hofbräuhaus     Bailey Kemme                              Visiting the  Hofbräuhaus Newport was an experience I will not soon forget. If you are looking for a truly unique meal that has an experience with it, this is your place. Not only will the servers take their time to sing and dance on tables for you, but do it in colorful German uniforms. The history of this place is also quite exciting (if you're into that kind of thing). If you didn't know, they often call breweries in Germany  Hofbräuhaus'.  The  Hofbräuhaus name came from Wihelm V, the duke of Bavaria (1579-1597). He and his mates were not satisfied with the beer brewed in Munich, and would often order beer from other cities. Trying to  cut costs, they decided to build a brewery with brew-master Heimeran Pongraz, and the word  Hofbräuhaus, meaning the "ducal brewery".
